Range of sizes to suit requirements, size dependent upon size of orbit. Typically 16-22mm in cats and dogs, 35-38mm in horses. Prosthetic diameter equal to horizontal corneal diameter plus 1mm, measured from the contra-lateral eye. Prosthesis may be shaped to patient's requirements using a scalpel.
